The inspiration and theme of the collection: New Vintage. Backstage, makeup, hair and nails were following the "basics that were twisted in subtle ways" Peter Phillips.
A modern french manicure that includes using two shades on one nail, a chrome base outlined the whole nail-bed with a melon varnish overlay resulted in a kind of inverted french manicure.
Thick black liner topped the upper lids with an added pale beige along the inner rims of the eyes to open it all up. Lashes were coated with Chanel Inimitable Mascara in Black.
lids were a blue/gray metallic that consisted of Chanel Ombre Essentielle Soft-Touch Eyeshadow in Furtif, the shadow was swept across the upper lash line through the crease and was also used to shadow under the lower lash, creating smokey eyes.
Lips were kept neutral to balance the smokiness of the eyes by using Natural lip liner and filled in lips with Rouge Allure lipstick in Evanescente.
hair was soft and loosely netted in a snood allowing soft but thick strands of hair to frame the face.
