"She's not a good girl, she's a dangerous girl" -Paul Hanlon
Inspirations for hair: Kurt Cobain's stringy hair,
Inspirations for makeup: "Real girl"
Nails were polished clear
Make-up called for strong brows that were filled in and brushed upwards, smudged lids in Coffee (color) created by Eye Pencil, and clean skin achieved with the help of MAC Studio Finish Concealer and adding a bit of a sheer flush with nude-pink lipstick on the cheeks. Lower lash lines were lined with Eye Pencil in Coffee while upper lash lines were kept bare and mascara was skipped entirely, giving the whole look a more boyish and undone look the show was going for.
Stringy Kurt Cobain locks were achieved by 1). misting hair down with water, 2). using hands to layer Frederic Fekkai's Perfectly Luscious Curl Wave Activating Spray through the length of the hair, 3). braid under sections to remove weight and give a natural stringy effect 4). gather hair into a low ponytail 5). spraying the base of the ponytail where the elastic is with Fekkai's Sheer Hold Hairspray (the elastic will later be cut and the hair will have an indentation where the elastic formerly was, 6). finally crown of the head is rubbed with fingers to create a static, frizzy effect.
